I am excited to announce that select portraits from the "Culinaria" project of important people in the food world will be shown as the featured exhibition during this year's Good Food Awards Weekend in San Francisco, January 15-17!
Culinaria is a portrait series spotlighting people doing important work in food world. The portraits serve to recognize their work and foster discussion about the issues these people devote their lives to.
For this reason, I can't think of a more appropriate venue to introduce this work to the public for the first time than the Good Food Awards. Good Food Awards has been working tirelessly the past six years to honor and recognize food producers around the country who craft exceptional food in ways that are sustainable and good. Sarah Weiner and the Seedling Projects organization who produce the event have done a great job in building a community of like minded people and creating and fostering an event where they can celebrate what is meaningful to them. I can't thank Sarah enough for inviting me into this world to showcase my photos.
This year, the event will be held for the first time at the Fort Mason Center for the Arts & Culture. You can find more information about the event by visiting here and purchase tickets for the events by visiting here.
The portraits will be shown throughout the weekend so if you do attend the gala and/or the marketplace, I hope you can take a moment between talking to friends old and new and bites of delicious food to view the prints.
